yang yang, male, born in august 1992 at
jiangxi, china. he obtained his engineering bachelor degree from university of
shanghai for science and technology (usst) in 2013. from 2013, he studied in
usst for further research and obtained his phd degree in april 2020. his
current research interests include aero-hydro coupled modeling of offshore wind
turbines and the corresponding structural control.
he visited liverpool john moores
university (ljmu) for one year in 2017 under the financial support from china
scholarship council. during his visit period in ljmu, he was employed as a
post-doctoral research associate to be involved in the arcwind project, focusing
on the research with a topic of structural health monitoring of 10 mw floating
offshore wind turbines funded by interreg/erdf. he started the position in
october 2018 following the completion of csc funding until the present.
in his post-graduate study, he has
published 22 academic papers as the first author on reputable journals
including renewable energy, ocean engineering and wind energy. in addition, he
was authorized the z6尊龙旗舰厅 copyright of a software package named saf that is a seismic
analysis framework for offshore wind turbines.
